With the holidays still in full swing combined with Kimie’s birthday today, it’s no surprise that the chimps are in a great mood today! Topo has been a terrific host for Kimie’s birthday, blowing kisses to the volunteers upon arriving at the sanctuary. Right behind Topo is Mr. Jackson, as he feels the need to one-up Topo’s greetings to their human companions!

At lunch the daily menu was spruced up with party bags for all of the chimps, a tradition that takes place for every birthday at Chimps Inc. Kimie sifted through her goodie bag outside, soaking up the sight of the billowing white landscape under warm blankets and pillows. The fun does not end with Christmas, for the chimps ring in the New Year with wishes of the spring and warmth that is to come!
