I got a little off track today when I kept hearing this clapping and grunting noise coming from behind me. I had been working in the tool shed not far from the big outside enclosure. I came out and there was Ms. Patti in the big outdoor asking me to come over. Well, being a nice day I thought she might go for a little jog around the outside – so I went over. Of course, Patti just wanted to see if I had any food in my pockets – but I didn’t. But, all of a sudden Emma and Jackson came running out through the tunnel and into the big play yard with Mr. Topo short on their butts. All three of them wanted to play chase around the enclosure. I ran for a little while until the three of them decided to ditch me and run and play with each other. Jackson even did a somersault trying to impress Emma. Then Topo got in the game. What fun to have such a nice day in the middle of winter and for all of the chimps excited to play outside.
